At 19 Culinary || Cupcake Making Day || The Butterfly Project

This is my very first time baking a cake. Thanks to The Butterfly Project for the warm invitation to join ‘At 19 Culinary’. I had great fun there with other blogger and new friends as well.
Continue reading for the step by step guide on how to bake cupcakes.

Prepare
Ingredients needed (18+- cupcakes)
- 3 large eggs
- Caster Sugar 330g
- Butter 115g
- Vanilla Essence 1tsp
- All Purpose Flour 320g
- Cider Vinegar 1 tsp
- Baking Soda 1 tsp
- Milk 185g
- Salt 1 tsp
- Red Food Coloring 2 tsp

- Cocoa Powder 32g

Step by Step guide

First off, preheat the oven to 175 ̊C and line 18 cupcake tin with paper cases.

Next, Whisk Cocoa Powder, Food Coloring and ¼ cup of boiling water together and set aside.

Third, with a paddle attachment, cream butter and shortening on high speed until smooth. Add sugar and continue beating until light and fluffy, about 5 minutes. Then add egg one by one, beating well after each addition.

Next, Stir Milk and vanilla essence into the Cocoa mixture earlier.

Then, stir together flour and salt. With mixer on low power, add flour mixture alternately with Cocoa mixture. Beat until incorporated.
The most important key in this step is to *begin and ending with flour mixture.

In a small bowl, mix vinegar and baking soda together until baking soda dissolves; mixture will fizz. Then add to batter and mix until combined and it’s done.

Lastly, spoon batter into each paper cases until ¾ full. Bake for about 20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool off completely on wire racks.

*Remember to spoon the batter into the paper cases cleanly to avoid burns on the side of the paper cups.

Next Step by Step Guide on how to make Cream Cheese Frosting

While making your frosting, remember to check out your cupcake once awhile to make sure it doesn't burn.

Check out these cute little sugar baby..

Isn't it cute??

Making a cupcake needs effort and time to make it pretty, just like Love. Though there may be times that things are imperfect but with a little trial and error, it will make it better.

My cupcakes are ready to be eaten.

Everyone made their effort on the cupcakes.  不舍得吃呀
